Onshore wind and utility-scale photovoltaic solar

Boralex was founded in Kingsey Falls, Quebec, more than 30 years ago and has since expanded its operations to the rest of Canada, France, the UK and the US. In France, where it has been operating for more than two decades, Boralex is today one of the largest independent producers of onshore wind energy. Its platform consists of more than 75 strategically located wind and solar plants with a total of over 1.2 gigawatts of generation capacity. Boralex aims to grow its French platform to as much as 3 gigawatts of installed wind and photovoltaic solar capacity by 2030 to meet growing energy needs in the French market while contributing to a more sustainable future.
