Your area of responsibility

  • Supporting senior institutional client relationship managers in acquiring, maintaining, and further developing client relationships, mainly for DACH region investors
  • Creating, in collaboration with senior professionals, new sales collaterals and participate in selected client meetings
  • Preparing, reviewing, and updating client presentations and investor updates and maintain existing product presentations as well as assisting and contributing to roadshow fundraising events
  • Acting as interface between different functions and teams within EIP and selecting third parties to ensure an integrated and coherent client experience, representing high-quality content and accuracy at the point of client interaction
  • Working conceptually and providing input and content for selected projects assigned by senior management, such as distribution strategy framework, product launch life cycle, performance, competitor & market analyses, as well as participating in various ongoing projects

Your skills and experience

  • Completion of at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree in finance and/or economics, and/or equivalent advanced training (CFA, CIIA, or CAIA, or progress towards obtaining them)
  • First work experience within client solutions & coverage, client service management, asset management, or consulting, ideally paired with initial private markets experience
  • Good understanding of the needs of institutional investors regarding different asset classes
  • Self-motivated and passionate character with entrepreneurial mind-set and team spirit
  • Ambition to deliver outstanding service to highly demanding institutional clients
  • Ability to work toward tight deadlines in a very dynamic environment

Client Solutions Associate

Your area of responsibility

As a member of EIP’s Client Solutions team, you will work at the interface to our investors. More broadly, you will contribute to the team in one of its main functions of capability & sales management, supporting our mission to grow assets under management and expand globally, with the following key responsibilities:

  • Preparing, designing, and maintaining convincing sales collateral based on investor profiles and requirements, including presentations and case studies, to support sales teams and placement agents in acquiring and further developing investor relationships
  • Completing requests for proposal (RFPs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and other due diligence materials for potential investors and consultants in a high-quality, accurate, succinct, and timely fashion
  • Liaising with different functions and teams within EIP and third parties to address investor questions and concerns and reverting to investors in a clear and persuasive fashion
  • Preparing and reviewing investor’s update presentations and other requests for existing investors
  • Independently leading, managing, and providing input and content for ad hoc projects, such as distribution strategy framework, performance attribution analysis, competitor and investor analysis, as well as various other projects

Your skills and experience

  • Private markets and/or asset management experience, with a demonstrable “sales flair” and clear ability to understand institutional investors
  • University degree in finance and/or economics, equivalent advanced training (CFA, CIIA or CAIA, or progress towards obtaining them) is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of investments (including performance and risk analytics), the investment process, and, ideally, energy infrastructure
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, curious, and passionate character with entrepreneurial mind-set and team spirit
  • Superior organizational skills, with the ability to manage several processes simultaneously and to work toward tight deadlines

Business & Product Manager

Your area of responsibility

As part of our Zurich-based Operations team, you will be responsible for business and product management activities, including:

  • Driving governance-related matters and helping fulfill regulatory requirements in our home market, including reporting to the Swiss market supervisor FINMA and our annual regulatory audit process
  • Contributing to our ambitious international expansion by helping master governance considerations and details
  • Ensuring the successful and smooth operation of regular meetings of our board of directors and senior management by executing corporate secretary responsibilities and coordinating key stakeholders
  • Working with our international team on the launch of new products, including setting up required entities and structures
  • Owning our relationship with a number of service providers and ensuring their compliance with regulatory requirements

Your skills and experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry; experience with asset management and especially illiquid asset classes or private markets is a plus

Portfolio Management Associate

Your area of responsibility

You will be a key member of Portfolio Management, a team based in Zurich with a transversal role across EIP and a holistic view across investment vehicles. We are responsible for managing EIP’s commingled funds, optimizing the risk-return of the portfolios, and providing strategic guidance on portfolio construction and diversification. You will work alongside colleagues with deep industry expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment exposed to a variety of projects. You will take ownership in the following fields:

  • Portfolio construction and diversification: Managing EIP’s commingled funds and elaborating strategic financial analyses to optimize the portfolios’ risk-return
  • Treasury management: Managing the portfolios’ liquidity and commitments, including portfolio-level cash flow forecasting, negotiation and establishment of portfolio-level debt facilities
  • Cross-fund transactions: Executing cross-trades between EIP managed vehicles, involved in the transaction structuring, transaction contracts and managing advisors
  • Performance measurement: Analyzing historical financial performance of EIP’s commingled funds, providing insight and actionable guidance to the Investment Committee and Senior Management
  • Ad-hoc support: As part of the Portfolio Management team, you will be permanently engaged with the Investments, Client Solutions and Operations teams, providing guidance on new investments, existing participations, and further portfolio-level optimization

Your skills and experience

  • 3-5 years of business-relevant professional experience, where you gained in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and private equity investments, with strong financial modelling skills, previous experience in M&A or other transaction related roles is a strong advantage
  • Curriculum demonstrating a passion to overachieve, either academically or in any other kind of undertaking
  • Strong execution capabilities with “finisher” mindset and capable of leading projects from the onset
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, capable of analyzing and digesting significant amounts of information under time pressure
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to deconstruct complex topics and provide actionable insight to Senior Management
  • Strong understanding of underlying drivers and business models of the energy sector

Senior Sales Europe/UK

Your area of responsibility

As a Senior Sales for Europe and UK, you will integrate the newly created Client Solutions team in Luxembourg and will be responsible for business development / sales activities within the segment of institutional investors in Europe (ex. Germany) and UK. You will be working in collaboration with and reporting to the Head of Client Solutions in Luxembourg. You will cover predominantly pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, consultants and (global) financial institutions and will also partner with our placement agent for these regions. You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and developing of existing and new business opportunities resulting in net new sales flows
  • Developing new as well as maintaining and deepening existing investor relationships, acting as “center of competence”/“product specialist” for product related investor inquiries by ensuring in depth knowledge about EIP’s products, investment approach and EIP investment view
  • Initiating and coordinating local marketing activities (prospect list, mailing, investor events, seminars & others) on top of global conferences
  • Supporting the development of sales collaterals associated with fundraising activities as well as ensuring competitive and consistent positioning of the product offering
  • Building and/or strengthening of local consultant relations
  • Leading the coordination of RFPs, final presentations and investor onboarding
  • Collecting and analyzing market data, the regulatory environment, investors’ mapping including investors’ and consultants’ feedback and developments in investor’s asset allocations/product selection preferences
  • Supporting ongoing investor maintenance including annual fund meetings, updates, Q&A, recurring portfolio review sessions

Your skills and experience

  • At least 8-15 years of business development/sales experience in the asset management/investment management industry, with proven track record in selling/presenting private markets/infrastructure investments to institutional investors (predominantly) in Europe and UK
  • Relevant experience and relationships on C-suite/decision making level to key pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, asset managers and consultants with the top segments of the European/UK institutional market
  • Sound knowledge of investments and the regulatory framework in Europe, UK and in particular Luxembourg
  • Exceptionally strong business development, communication and sales skills, paired with entrepreneurial enthusiasm
  • Ability to build and maintain trustworthy, credible, sophisticated and long-term oriented partnerships with investors
  • Self-motivated and passionate character with team spirit and ability to work in a very dynamic environment as well as towards tight deadlines
  • Hands-on person and passionate about top-notch client services with a customer focused and structured sales approach
  • Fluency in English is a must, any additional European/Nordic language would be considered as a plus
