The position will focus on business development and distribution activities within the segment of large and sophisticated institutional clients (i.e., pension funds, insurance companies, single family offices and global financial institutions) out of Luxembourg for Europe excluding Switzerland – initially mainly Germany, Austria, Benelux, the Nordics and the United Kingdom. In close collaboration with the team in Zurich you will inter alia be responsible for:
Business Development
- Maintaining and deepening of existing client relationships as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities and distribution channels
- Organizing and participating in client meetings together with a product specialist to present new investment offerings and represent the AIFM
- Preparing and leading client portfolio reviews as well as acting as the main contact person for product related client inquiries by ensuring in depth knowledge about EIP’s products, investment approach and investment view
- Support the pitch process with preparation of proposals such as the production of information for RFPs and other information required for proposals and presentations which includes facilitating client onboarding
- Act as interface between different functions and teams within EIP and third parties e.g. legal and tax advisors or the fund administrator to ensure an integrated & coherent client experience
- Actively contribute to the development of the company’s client marketing & sales strategy as well as the product development strategy
- Collect and analyze market data and work hereby closely with portfolio managers
- Analyze the regulatory environment, client and consultant feedback and general development in client allocation and product selection
Fund Marketing & Distribution Management
- Responsible for cross-border pre-marketing and marketing notifications of AIFs for professional investors under AIFMD: initial and ongoing (maintenance) notifications
- Coordinate notifications process (maintenance) with our service provider
- Prepare marketing materials associated with fund raising and ensure consistency within compliance and their applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure competitive and consistent positioning of the product offering
- Update the policies, procedures, and specific documentation (questionnaires, checklists, reports) to comply with the regulations, market practices and the company’s processes
- Help monitor and ensure that the ongoing regulatory reporting, publication and reporting obligations are satisfied
