Internship Client Solutions

Looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work in the heart of Zurich’s financial district, within a diverse team and dynamic company? We offer an exciting position at Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP), an investment boutique specialized in private equity investments in the energy infrastructure sector, from wind farms to electricity grids. Currently managing over CHF 4bn of capital on behalf of institutional investment vehicles, EIP is growing rapidly and looking for new talent to support with expanding its focus to global investment activities.

Your area of responsibility

  • Support senior institutional client relationship managers in acquiring, maintaining, and further developing client relationships, mainly for DACH region investors
  • Create, in collaboration with senior professionals, new sales collaterals and participate in select client meetings
  • Prepare, review, and update client presentations and investor updates and maintain existing product presentations
  • Act as interface between different functions and teams within EIP and select third parties to ensure an integrated and coherent client experience, representing high-quality content and accuracy at the point of client interaction
  • Work conceptually and provide input and content for selected projects assigned by senior management, such as distribution strategy framework, product launch life cycle, performance, competitor & market analyses, as well as participate in various ongoing projects

Your skills and experience

  • Completion of at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree in finance and/or economics, and/or equivalent advanced training (CFA, CIIA, or CAIA, or progress towards obtaining them)
  • First work experience within Client Solutions & Coverage, Client Service Management, Asset Management, or Consulting, ideally paired with initial private markets experience
  • Self-motivated and passionate character with entrepreneurial mind-set and team spirit
  • Ability to work toward tight deadlines in a very dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and conceptual skills, combined with eloquent oral and written communication skills in (Swiss-) German and English (additional languages are a plus)

Inhouse Legal Counsel

We offer an exciting position at Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP), an investment boutique specialized in private equity investments in the energy infrastructure sector, from wind farms to electricity grids, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Currently managing over CHF 4bn of capital on behalf of institutional investment vehicles, EIP is growing rapidly and looking for new talent to support with expanding its focus to global investment activities.

Your area of responsibility

  • Act as sole legal business partner for EIP and holistic responsibility for all legal matters of EIP
  • Advise on various legal matters and governance framework of a regulated entity (FINMA, CSSF etc.)
  • Review of legal agreements (e.g. Investment Management Agreements, Offering Memorandums or Side Letters) and support in negotiations with counterparties
  • Support with driving the business forward by e.g., establishing distribution agreements or new fund structures
  • Involvement in energy infrastructure investment transactions and ongoing investment/asset management in collaboration with external law firms
  • Management and monitoring of external legal counsels
  • Support in ad-hoc clarifications, new products and new business initiatives

Your skills and experience

  • Proven law degree
  • Minimum six years of relevant experience in legal departments of an asset manager or in law firms with an asset management focus; experiences with an illiquid asset class are a plus
  • Profound knowledge of Swiss and EU-regulations (e.g. FIDLEG, FINIG, AIFMD, SFDR) and the current developments concerning the asset management industry
  • Structured, proactive, detail-oriented personality with an ability to work with tight deadlines that drives matters forward to resolution
  • Fluency in English and (Swiss) German; French is an advantage
