Your area of responsibility

This position will focus on supporting the asset managers to optimize and add shareholder value in existing and new investments (project assets, corporates and portfolios). Your skills and experience

  • Familiar with development and roll-out of strategy concepts, in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and financial modelling

As a member of EIP’s Client Solutions team, you will work at the interface to our investors. Your skills and experience

Your area of responsibility

As an Investments Analyst based in our office in Zurich, you will be responsible for supporting the team throughout the investment lifecycle, with special emphasis on post-closing value creation and investment management tasks on specific assets as well as implementation and enhancement of investment management processes on portfolio level. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:

  • Supporting asset managers in measuring and creating shareholder value in existing portfolio investments, which includes:
    • Analyzing adequate company and fund KPIs to monitor asset developments against investment thesis
    • Maintaining and improving valuation models to track investment performance including coordinating various stakeholders such as valuation agent

As an Investments Financing & Structuring Associate, you will be supporting the senior financing and deals lead on the financing of transactions and refinancing of existing assets. Risk & Valuation Officer

Your area of responsibility

This position will focus on risk management and valuation oversight. As part of our risk and compliance team based in our Luxembourg office in Belval, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Implementing procedures and controls designed to ensure the AIFM’s compliance with prevailing laws and regulations as well as internal requirements in relation to risk management and valuation
  • Taking an active role in setting up and maintaining risk profiles at AIFM and fund level; in particular regarding the definition and monitoring of KRIs consistent with the AIFM structure, with the vehicle at umbrella level and with the single assets
  • Reviewing and analyzing valuation reports including methodologies and data inputs provided by the investments and portfolio management teams as well as external independent valuation agents
  • Liaising with portfolio managers and valuation providers on an ongoing basis to allow the AIFM to have a deep view on the rationale behind the risk indicators and the valuation assumptions
  • Production of periodic risk and valuation related reports in order to provide the Conducting Officers, the AIFM Board of Directors and the funds’ Board of Directors with the required information
  • Participating in the preparation and the ongoing monitoring of action points of risk and valuation related committees of the AIFM
  • Contributing to the due diligence and the ongoing monitoring of the AIFM delegates through the collection and assessment of KPIs

Your skills and experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in the field of portfolio management or risk management/valuation related to alternative investment funds with illiquid investment strategies
  • Degree in Business, Finance or Mathematics; any additional qualification in risk management or valuation will be considered as an advantage
  • Proven know-how of relevant investment structures and Luxembourg industry regulations as well as best practices

Your area of responsibility

Your role will focus on supporting our Head of Luxembourg Office on both the administrative and operational side including office management. Your will work in close collaboration with the local team, our colleagues from the office in Zurich and external parties. As part of our Luxembourg operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively managing the diary of the Head of Luxembourg, scheduling/coordinating internal and external meetings, conference calls and video conferences across multiple time zones; liaising with assistants from multiple teams across the company and outside of the company to ensure efficient planning for meetings, events and deliverables
  • Ensuring the Head of Luxembourg’s preparation for internal and external meetings including confirmation of logistics and potentially printing materials/support documents, preparing agendas, documentation and presentation material
  • Reviewing and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence and inquiries, monitoring email in-box, ensuring attention is drawn to important emails and that administrative matters are addressed promptly while handling confidential files in accordance with firm policy
  • Handling day to day administrative responsibilities for other conducting officers and team members as a back-up
  • Organizing conducting officer and board meetings/conferences and coordinating logistics, attendees, materials and communication plans
  • Planning team meetings, events and external or internal trainings
  • Coordinating all aspects of domestic/international travel, preparing travel itineraries and expense reports, managing payments of the travel expenses ensuring they are accurate within the company policy and send them out for internal approval and for payment
  • Picking up any ad-hoc/unplanned tasks/issues proactively as required and being in charge of the office management

Your skills and experience

  • Several years of experience in a similar position ideally within an international environment in the financial sector
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude, an independent work style, reliability, commitment and a high level of confidentiality
  • Pro-active and hands-on approach, eagerness to constantly learn and face new challenges within a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English is a must, additional languages such as German and French are a plus

Senior Institutional Sales

Your area of responsibility

You will be responsible for steering business development and sales activities within the segment of large and sophisticated institutional clients mainly in Germany and Austria as well as other selected countries within the European economic area. You will cover pension funds, insurance companies, single family offices and global financial institutions. As part of our team based in Luxembourg, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and developing of new business opportunities resulting in new net sales flows and strengthening local consultant relations and contribute to global consultant co-ordination process
  • Maintaining and deepening existing client relationships, preparing and leading client portfolio reviews and act as “center of competence” / “product specialist” for product related client inquiries by ensuring in depth knowledge about EIP’s products, investment approach and EIP’s investment view
  • Driving the further development of the company’s client marketing & sales strategy as well as the product development strategy while initiating and coordinating local marketing activities (mailings, client events, seminars)
  • Developing sales collaterals associated with fund raising as well as ensuring competitive and consistent positioning of the product offering
  • Leading the coordination of RFP’s, final presentations and client onboarding including the setup of segregated accounts and transition management
  • Ensuring in depth knowledge about the products, investment approach and EIP’s investment view
  • Collecting and analyzing market data, the regulatory environment as well as client and consultant feedback and general developments in client allocations and product selection

Your skills and experience

  • At least 10-15 years of business development/sales experience in the asset management industry, with proven track record in selling private markets/infrastructure investments to institutional clients
  • University degree in finance and/or economics and/or equivalent advanced training (CFA, CIIA or CAIA, or progress towards obtaining them)
  • Relevant experience and relationships on C-suite/decision making level to key pension funds, insurers, and consultants within the top segments of German & Austrian institutional market
  • Exceptionally strong business development & sales skills, paired with investment knowledge as well as entrepreneurial enthusiasm paired with the ability to build and maintain trustworthy, credible, sophisticated, and long-term oriented partnership with your clients
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and a structured sales approach supplemented with a self-motivated and passionate character with entrepreneurial mind-set and team spirit with the ability to work towards tight deadlines in a very dynamic environment
  • Sound knowledge of the marketing regulatory framework in the respective markets
  • German and English fluent language skills are required, French and further languages are a plus

Your role will focus on supporting the corporate secretarial team within corporate governance activities. You will interact regularly with investments, product operations and client solutions team, lawyers and notaries. The main goal is to ensure the corporate governance of the companies domiciled and managed by EIP Luxembourg and assist in the acquisition/disposal and management of an asset. As part of our operations team based in our Luxembourg office, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with team members to assist with the coordination and execution of contractual documents

Senior Corporate Officer

Your area of responsibility

  • Manage the corporate governance of EIP Luxembourg:
    • Lead the organization, coordinate and prepare the minutes of various meetings (e.g. monthly senior management meetings, committees and board meetings)
    • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders for the setup documents of an existing or new fund including the filing of the fund prospectus with the CSSF, monitor the updates on side letters, election letters or offer memorandum in coordination with our client solutions team
    • Lead ad-hoc projects in relation to the local entity and the managed funds to realize operational efficiencies in the operating model with the team in relation to the proper governance of the company
  • Manage the corporate governance of the companies domiciled and managed by EIP Luxembourg:
    • Act as main point of contact for the investments team, product operations team and lawyers
    • Organize, hold, draft and follow up on board, AGM/EGMs and other meetings including the execution and delivery of any related documentation
    • Organize and supervise the day-to-day legal administration of the entities in Luxembourg
    • Keep corporate documents and records up to date and ensure proper filing with RBO, RCS and legal database (e.g. signatory lists, trade registry and other official registers pertaining to the company)
    • Management of the domiciliation agreements
    • Prepare the FATCA/CRS forms on an annual basis
  • Facilitate smooth execution of the acquisition, management, or disposal of an asset:
    • Organize the transaction related board meeting including the draft of the minutes and preparation of the board package
    • Prepare the Luxembourgish legal documents based on the fund flow prepared by product operations team or investments team
    • Review and validate legal documentation prepared by lawyers including equity commitment letters, minutes, loans agreements, etc.
    • Collect and store the closing documents in the archiving tool
  • Incorporate Luxembourgish special purpose vehicles (SPVs):
    • Act as the main point of contact person with the team, lawyers and notary
    • Prepare the draft articles of incorporation/association including the legal package
    • Schedule the notary appointment
    • Open the bank account and ensure the ongoing monitoring on the AML/CTF

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a legal/company secretary/corporate matters role
  • Well organized and rigorous with high attention to detail and accuracy; experience in project management
  • Excellent academic background with completed studies in legal or similar
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex topic
  • Convincing personality with excellent communication and negotiation skills; used to work in an international environment
  • Independent, pro-active, flexible and entrepreneurial action; therefore, self-motivating and with a positive, can-do approach
  • Proficiency in English is a must, knowledge of German, French or other languages is an advantage
