Your area of responsibility

Operating at the interface of the EIP’s Investments and Client Solutions teams, you will work on our heterogeneous and highly driven Fund Marketing and Investor Communication team, helping push best-in-class insights from the world of energy infrastructure and private markets investing to our global client base, with the following key responsibilities: 
 

• Lead the writing and review process for our key quarterly reports, especially for our flagship Swiss investment groups, with special attention to the commentary on the asset performance and development in energy markets
• Contribute to investor content across all channels –  everything from white papers and webinars to our quarterly newsletter – with an entrepreneurial and results-driven mentality 
• Proactively conceive and execute fast-twitch communication to clients related to portfolio company earnings as well as other ad-hoc events in energy markets
• Coordinate inputs from adjacent teams while enhancing quality and maintaining accuracy
• Help run EIP’s cross-functional editorial group, ensuring there is a rich, relevant and constantly progressing pipeline of material we can use to enhance the experience

Your skills and experience

• Native-level German and English writing skills are a prerequisite to apply and will be tested early in the interview process
• Proven track record of academic excellence and intellectual rigor, including at least two of the following: top marks from a leading global university; a master’s degree in energy, finance, science or mathematics; a CFA or similar advanced certification; experience in trading or M&A in the energy sector; experience covering an energy or infrastructure-related beat at a premier media company
• Proven ability to derive simple and actionable insights from complex data sets
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial skillset and commitment to continuous improvement in an intellectually demanding and fast-moving environment
• Superior organization skills, with the ability to manage several processes simultaneously and work towards tight deadlines as part of a dynamic team
• Highly structured approach to writing and thinking that you apply to all problems you want to solve, while always optimizing for simplicity, efficiency and good style
